- A slow or reluctant payer
- A proposal for deferring the payment of a debt

You should:
- Immediately contact our debt recovery department.
Whenever you have a debtor that is reluctant to pay, even where there is no dispute, our debt recovery system will relentlessly pursue that debtor:
- By a seven day letter
- By legal proceedings
- By pursuing enforcement of judgment
- By calculating the interest and costs to be added to the debt
We can act for you on a Fixed Fee basis and at all stages we will report to you as to the progress made on all outstanding claims.
In the case of defended claims, we have the experience to handle a wide range of commercial disputes and we will tailor our service to your exact requirements.
In instances of insolvency, we shall take all the important steps necessary to ensure that you receive the maximum return possible in the circumstances.
We can also:
- Help you with your credit procedures
- Advise on credit worthiness checks
- Look at and advise upon your terms and conditions
Enforcement
Once judgment has been obtained against a debtor, it is vital to choose the correct method of enforcement if available funds are not to be lost to other creditors. We can help you to decide which method of enforcement should be chosen.
Among the wide range of enforcement options which are open to a judgment creditor are:
- Seizure of goods
- Charging orders against property
- Attachment of earnings
- Intercepting money held by others
- Winding-up
- Bankruptcy
- Instalment orders
We will discuss with you at the appropriate time which of these options you should elect to follow (if any).
