Haydn Jones was born in Coventry and obtained a law degree at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne before joining Band Hatton in 1975  and qualifying as a Solicitor in 1977. He became a Partner in 1982.

Haydn deals with commercial property, including purchases and sales, leases and other landlord and tenant issues. He has extensive knowledge in charity law and practice and is legal adviser to a major local charity, and lead partner for the firm’s Charities Unit and Agricultural Unit.

He is a keen photographer in his spare time, and enjoys listening to music and dog walking in the Cotswolds where he now lives.

Raj Somal was born in Coventry and is currently a Trainee Solicitor with Band Hatton. She is currently studying the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law concurrently with her training contract. Raj has spent considerable time in the family and litigation department and is currently working in the Corporate and Commercial department, whilst continuing to oversee debt recovery matters.

Raj is Vice-Chair of the Coventry & Warwickshire First Young Professionals group and an active member of the Warwickshire Law Society Young Lawyers group. She has been keenly involved in networking and business development. She has a particular interest in sport and Raj enjoys reading (topical and fiction), socialising, cooking (and eating!) as well as dancing.
